Over the past few years, a group has formed in the region to promote the well-being, respect and inclusion of the LGBTQ+ community. Chaired by Nathalie Dubé and Melanie Lepage, the group was formed in 2017 to reach out to a community in a region with unique challenges. Members of this community often experience stigma, bullying, harassment, discrimination and even assault.
